Frenchic Clean Start - Preparation Kit

Get a successful start to your painting project with Frenchic's Clean Start Preparation Kit!

Including everything you need to prepare any surface;

• Frenchic's Concentrated Sugar Soap,
• Scourer Sponge
• Four Sanding Blocks - 60, 100, 150 & 220 Grit 
• A Microfibre Mitt

Here's a short guide on how to use the products included in your Frenchic Clean Start kit:

Step 1: Prepare the Sugar Soap Solution Start by mixing 1 part Frenchic Sugar Soap with 10 parts warm water in a container. This solution will be the base for your cleaning process.

Step 2: Scrub with the Scourer Sponge Dampen the Scourer Sponge in the sugar soap solution. Use it to gently scrub the surfaces you're about to paint. Its design makes it easy to tackle even the tricky nooks and crannies.

Step 3: Scuff Sand with the Sanding Blocks Take the sanding blocks provided. Begin with the 60/100 grit to effectively remove any lumps and bumps on your piece (if needed). Then, use the 150/220 grit; This will lightly scuff the surfaces, creating a textured base that helps your chosen Frenchic Paint adhere better.

Step 4: Dust Off with the Microfibre Mitt Once sanding is complete, use the microfiber mitt to wipe away all dust and debris. This step ensures a clean surface, free from any particles that could affect the quality of your paint application.

By following these simple steps, you'll create the ideal foundation for your painting project, ensuring that your chosen paint adheres beautifully and provides a smooth, long-lasting finish.
